...and then make it happen! It's that simple really. You can spend your time focused on things outside your control- or you can focus on what you can control and make this year count.
And no, I'm not advocating the futile practice of "New Year's Resolutions". I don't believe that you need to wait for a specific date or milestone to begin making changes in your life- but I do believe that time is a valuable commodity and that you should invest it wisely. With the year just nine days in- what are you going to do to make sure that this is a year you can be proud of?
What are some of the goals that you set for yourself last year that you didn't get a chance to complete yet? What can you do to make sure 2023 is different? Most importantly, what goals do you need to give up on, because they are starting to feel like a chore rather than something you are truly passionate about? If you've been putting something off for months, maybe it is no longer something that should remain on your list.
Whether you want to jot your goals down on a piece of paper and hang it up on your wall, or whether you want to create a vision board- my personal preference is a PowerPoint, yup I'm a nerd like that :D- set down your top 3 or 4 goals for the year and take realistic steps towards achieving them.
Whatever your situation may be like this year, and no matter how far or unrealistic your goals may appear at this moment in time, take control of your life and make your 2023 count!
